Joey Batey (2019)

Joey Batey (born January 1, 1989 in Newcastle upon Tyne , England ) is a British actor and musician .

Career

Batey studied French and Spanish at the Robinson College of the University of Cambridge . He also graduated from Jacques Lecoq's École Internationale de Théâtre in Paris. In 2013, Batey made his debut in the British thriller Murder on the Home Front , directed by Geoffrey Sax . In 2014 he appeared in The Riot Club , directed by Lone Scherfig . In 2017 Paul McGuigan cast him as Eddie in Stars Don't Die in Liverpool . Batey was also part of the cast in the television series CB Strike (2017), In the Dark (2017) and Knightfall (2017). He also gained fame through the role of the bard delphinium in the 2019 Netflix series The Witcher . In this series he sings the song Toss a Coin to Your Witcher , which hit the music charts of several states.

He sings and plays guitar in the folk band The Amazing Devil .
