society

Audel, whose parents come from the French overseas department Martinique , was born in Nice in the south of France. He had learned to play football at the amateur club Trinité SFC before he was accepted into the youth academy of the OGC Nice in 1994 at the age of ten . After his football training at OGC Nice, the left-footed player started playing for the club's second team in 2000. From the 2001/02 season he was in the professional squad, but was not used there and moved to Lille OSC in the summer of 2004 at the age of 20 . In its first year, Lille OSC was runner-up under coach Claude Puel . In the UEFA Cup, the OSC made it to the round of 16, in which they were eliminated against AJ Auxerre . In the league, Audel, who can be used on the flank or in the storm, played 15 games in his first Ligue 1 season and scored two goals. It was only used once for a full 90 minutes. Internationally, Audel was substituted on once in a 0-1 game at Alemannia Aachen a quarter of an hour before the end.

Audel was a regular player for the first time when he was loaned to FC Lorient, who played in the French second division, for the 2005/06 season . At the side of André-Pierre Gignac and Karim Ziani , he contributed eight goals in 30 league appearances to achieve third place and the associated promotion to the first division. After returning to Lille OSC, he was again on the bench for most of the time. In 2006/07 he made four appearances and one goal in the championship and one game in qualifying for the Champions League, in which he scored the 1-0 winning goal in the game at Rabotnički Skopje . After he was not used in the group stage of the Champions League, he was substituted on again a quarter of an hour before the end in the 0-1 in the round of 16 against Manchester United . In the summer of 2007, Audel joined Valenciennes FC , which shortly before had only just been able to avert relegation from Ligue 1 . There he scored a hat trick in his first league game for Valenciennes against FC Toulouse , which Valenciennes won 3-1. Audel quickly became a mainstay of the team and played 77 times for Valenciennes in the first division by 2010, scoring nine league goals in the first season and seven in the subsequent seasons.

On August 9, 2010, Audel moved to the German Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart , where he signed a contract that ran until the end of June 2014. He played his first game in the Swabian jersey on August 14, 2010 when Stuttgart coach Christian Gross replaced him in the 59th minute for Timo Gebhart in the 2-1 first round win in the DFB Cup at SV Babelsberg .

Audel was on 2 September 2013 to the end of the 2013/14 season at FC Nantes awarded after it had been previously extended his contract term at VfB Stuttgart until the end of June, 2015. On May 24, 2014, FC Nantes took advantage of a purchase option; Audel received a two-year contract.

In August 2016, Audel moved to Israel to join Beitar Jerusalem .
