Johann A. Saiger

Johann A. Saiger (* in Salzburg ) is an Austrian financial analyst, referring in particular to precious metal - plants specialized.

Life

He first completed an apprenticeship as a banker in the early 1960s . He then worked for a bank as a wealth and investment advisor before working as a precious metals trader in the 1970s and 1980s. Saiger is regarded as a student and companion of André Kostolany . Since 1988 he has published the Midas Goldbrief & Goldminen-Spiegel and the Midas-Investment-Report - named after the mythical Midas - two stock market letters. His analysis and advice are largely based on a long-term cyclicality of precious metal prices that he has identified. He appears as a speaker at congresses, conferences, seminars and meetings.

Saiger is counted as part of the "Austrian School" and partly represents heterodox theories. He appeared at events together with Wilhelm Hankel , Eberhard Hamer , Franz Hörmann , Gerd Habermann , Karl Albrecht Schachtschneider , Eva Herman and Paul C. Martin and in 2011 and 2012 acted as a conversation partner on two DVDs , on which Ralf Flierl , Bernd-Thomas Ramb , Udo Ulfkotte , Ulrich Schlüer , Hans J. Bocker and Thorsten Schulte were involved. Saiger also wrote an article for the journal Das Edelmetall- und Rohstoffmagazin 2017/2018 published by Kopp Verlag .

On the other hand, he was invited to a lecture by the Faculty of Mathematics at the Technical University of Chemnitz in October 2005 and has already been a speaker at the renowned International Precious Metals and Raw Materials Fair in Munich . In addition, the German investor television interviewed him several times as an expert and in June 2016 and March 2018 he also appeared in its successor, Der Aktionär TV .
