Paul C. Martin (economist)

Paul Christoph Martin (born September 20, 1939 in Luckenwalde ; † April 3, 2020 ) was a German economist , business journalist and author with a doctorate .

Life

From 1958 to 1968 he studied philosophy , history and economics in Berlin , Bonn , Munich and Chicago (with Milton Friedman ). - As a guest of the Studiobühne at the University of Bonn, he also appeared in the first performance of the play “Feuerfuß. As an opponent of state economic interventions, Paul Martin preferred a gold currency .
