Johann Andreas (Andrä) von Rosenberg (born September 7, 1600 in St. Andrä ; † January 4, 1667 in Carinthia) was an important representative of the Catholic nobility in Carinthia at the time of the Counter Reformation . Life

Johann Andreas von Rosenberg was the only male descendant of Andreas von Rosenberg (1566–1617) and his wife Katharina Weiß von Schmelzhofen. His grandfather was Ulrich von Rosenberg († 1599), who entered the services of Salzburg as a carer in St. Andrä im Lavanttal and also gained a foothold there through his wife Magarethe von Hagendorf, so that he was later referred to as the "ancestor" of the Rosenbergs in Carinthia has been.

In 1620, he married Johanna von Kulmer, soon afterwards their sons Georg Nikolaus von Rosenberg (1623–1695) and Wolfgang Andreas (1626–1695) were born.

In 1621 Johann Andreas von Rosenberg was accepted into the Carinthian state estates .
