Count Johann Nepomuk Anton Gotthard von Harbuval-Chamaré-Stolz (born October 29, 1834 in Neuschloß , † August 7, 1895 in Ferleiten ) was a Bohemian-German manor owner and member of the Center Party .

origin

He came from the Bohemian count family Harbuval-Chamaré, originally from France . His father was Johann Nepomuk Ludwig Anton Graf von Harbuval-Chamaré-Stolz (1798–1873), his mother Maria Hedwig Countess von Schaffgotsch (1805–1875).

Life

He was an officer in the Austrian military with the rank of Rittmeister . As such, he took part in the war in Italy in 1859 . He later made trips to Belgium , France and Italy .

Harbuval-Chamaré-Stolz was Austrian chamberlain and state elder. From 1859 he was the landlord in Neuschloss (Bohemia) and Fideikommissherr in the Prussian Neuhaus in the Münsterberg district in Silesia. In the Franco-Prussian War of 1870/71 he was involved as a Knight of Malta .

Later he was politically active in the German Center Party. Between 1874 and 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag , where he represented the constituency of Breslau administrative district 6 ( Frankenstein - Münsterberg ).

family

In 1864 he married Therese Countess von Schlabrendorf (* January 25, 1847 - September 9, 1898), the daughter of Count Constantin von Schlabrendorf (1812-1858) and Bianca, born at Schloss Stolz , district of Frankenstein . Countess von Pückler , baroness von Groditz (1826–1870), with whom he had eight children:
