Johann Bresgen

Johann Bresgen (born June 1, 1884 in Essen , † March 26, 1974 in Grevenbroich ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, Bresgen completed a commercial apprenticeship and then worked as a businessman in Wevelinghoven from 1908 to 1974 . He was married and had one child.

He was a member of the Grevenbroich District Council from July 3, 1946 to April 12, 1961. From November 15, 1956 to April 12, 1961, he was District Administrator of the Grevenbroich district. He was a member of the city council of Wevelinghoven from 1923 to 1924 and from 1946 to 1956. From 1954 to 1956 he was mayor . Bresgen was also represented in numerous committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia .
