Adolf Göggel

Adolf Göggel (born June 28, 1880 in Koblenz ; † February 13, 1959 in Grevenbroich ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, Göggel worked in the military administration from 1908 to 1910 and then in the police administration in Dortmund and Düsseldorf. After a short time in Suwalki Mayor was joined from 1919 to 1945 activities at the county Dusseldorf , Neuss and the government in Dusseldorf. He was employed as a community auditor for the district government.

He was a member of the Grevenbroich District Council from October 30, 1946 to November 15, 1956. From 1945 to 1948 Göggel was a member of the official representation of the Office Norf .

From November 29, 1949 to November 15, 1956 he was district administrator of the Grevenbroich district. From 1945 to 1948 he was the mayor of the office of Norf and from 1946 to 1948 he was acting mayor of the city of Norf.

Others

On September 1, 1954, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class on the occasion of the inauguration of the new district building. Göggel received honorary citizenship of the city of Norf on October 23, 1956.
