Johann Ferdinand Seiz
Johann Ferdinand Seiz (born January 5, 1738 in Lombach , † September 23, 1793 in Sindelfingen ) was a German Protestant theologian and poet of Pietism .
Life
Seiz, son of pastor Georg Seiz († 1763), attended a monastery school in Denkendorf from 1752 , two years later he went to a school in Maulbronn and for another two years, i.e. 1756, he went to the Evangelical Monastery in Tübingen , where he received his master's degree in 1758 and was repetent in 1766 . In the same year he was appointed deacon in Besigheim , where he married the youngest daughter of Friedrich Christoph Oetinger . In 1790 Johann Seiz became pastor in Sindelfingen , where he died of a serious illness at the age of 55.
