Johann Heinrich Redecker was the son of a court official and probably grew up in Harpstedt an der Delme . There he was already active as an official clerk before 1700 before he worked as court clerk in Hanover, probably from 1723.
In the castle church of the Leineschloss , Redecker married Dorothea Elisabeth Gräfe on August 15, 1726, daughter of the bell founder Gräfe and widow of the rector Andreas Christoph Augspurg. After acquiring the house at Röselerstraße 11, Redecker received free citizenship of the (old) city of Hanover on December 4, 1733 .
After his death, his son-in-law presented Redecker's handwritten Chronik Historische Collectanea ... to the magistrate of Hanover .
