Johann Ludwig Coste

Johann Ludwig Coste , also Jean Louis Coste (born April 8, 1809 in Groß Machnow ; † December 22, 1886 in Brusenfelde ) was a landowner, Prussian district administrator and member of the provincial parliament in Pomerania .

Life

Johann Ludwig Coste was the son of Jean Siméon Coste and Friederike Wilhelmine Hagemeyer. On July 2, 1830, he married Emilie Cranz in Brusenfelde in Western Pomerania (born April 16, 1806 in Erlangen, † November 17, 1835 in Brusenfelde). In the same year he took over from his father-in-law, the Economics Commissarius Dr. Carl Cranz, the management of the Brusenfelde estate . After the death of his father-in-law in 1835 and a little later of his wife, he inherited the property. In 1836 he married Fanny Röhling, the daughter of a Berlin businessman.

Johann Ludwig Coste became district deputy in 1855. In 1841 he was elected deputy for the MP Karl von Steinaecker and in 1851 himself a Member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Pomerania . In 1862 he was appointed landscape councilor for the Pomeranian landscape . In 1866 he became district administrator of the Greifenhagen district . He retired in 1883 and was awarded the Order of the Crown, 2nd class.
