Daniel Levin Andreas von der Schulenburg

Daniel Levin Andreas von der Schulenburg (* 1690 in Hanover ; † 23 October 1752 in Schwochow ) was a German nobleman and district administrator of the Greifenhagen district .

He came from a branch of the noble family von der Schulenburg , who had temporarily sunk into the middle class. His father, the consistorial councilor Johann Ernst von der Schulenburg , was able to renew the nobility in 1718 through Emperor Karl VI. obtain.

From 1709 he studied theology at the University of Helmstedt . After graduating, he worked in Königsberg in the Neumark, first as a teacher, then as an archdeacon. In 1716 he got a job as a pastor ("prepositus") in Greifenhagen .

But in 1728 he left the parish and bought the Schwochow estate in the Pyritz district , which he managed from then on as a landlord. In 1728 he acquired a share of Schwochow from District Administrator Georg Friedrich von Podewils ; with this share he was enfeoffed in 1729. He bought the other part of Schwochow in 1732, but this part remained a fief of the Puttkamer family .

In 1742 he was elected as the successor to the resigned Gustav Eberhard von Greiffenpfeil as the new district administrator of the Greifenhagen district. After his death, Joachim Abraham von Oesterling succeeded him in office .

Daniel Levin Andreas von der Schulenburg was married to Elisabeth Anna, née von Schönebeck . She died before him in 1751. The marriage resulted in two sons and two daughters. After his death, the Schwochow estate had to be legally sold due to debts and the family lost it.
