Georg Friedrich von Podewils (around 1695 ; † before 1747 ) was a German state director and district administrator in the Schivelbein district .

Life

Georg Friedrich von Podewils came from the well-known, in Pomerania closed worn- noble family of Podewils . His parents were the Dutch and English major, Herr auf Podewils , Rützenhagen (Wohngut), Glötzin and Groß Latzkow , Georg Joachim von Podewils (1643–1719) and Anna Maria von Wedel (1643–1713). The Pomeranian government councilor Franz Wilhelm von Podewils (* 1705; † 1768) was a younger brother.

Career

Not much is known about Georg Friedrich von Podewils' personal and professional career. However, he was initially referred to as regional director and later as district administrator of the Schivelbein district , which at that time belonged to Neumark . Furthermore, he should also court u. Have been president of the castle court. He took over Rützenhagen from his father's inheritance and sold it. He was also owned by Schönfeld and Boltenhagen , which he also sold.

Podewils was married to Maria Helena von Münchow († after 1749), daughter of Dubislaw von Münchow and Helene Marie von Köller . The marriage resulted in two daughters and three sons, but they did not continue the tribe .
