In 1821 farmers were regulated: five farmers were recognized. The manor was owned by the bailiff Stenigke, then von Oppen (1833), bailiff Dobbert (1836) and others. In 1928 the estate was owned by Julius Cleve in Leckow (Lekowo) - with a size of at least 634 hectares. At the end of the war in 1945 there were 34 farms in the area. The craft was represented by a forge and a wheelwright.

Until 1932 Boltenhagen belonged to the district of Schivelbein, until it was dissolved in the district of Belgard (Persante) . In 1939 there were 232 villagers in 54 households. The community area at the time was 758.5 hectares.

Boltenhagen belonged to the Lankow district and registry office in the Schivelbein district court area. The last German mayor was Max Ninmann.
