Rogalino ( German Röglin ) is a village in Poland , which is located in the powiat Świdwiński in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and belongs to the rural municipality Świdwin (Schivelbein) .

history

Röglin, which lies on the northern bank of the Rega , was divided into small and large Röglin until the 19th century . It belonged as a Vorwerk to the municipality of Damerow (today in Polish Dąbrowa Białogardzka ) and was assigned to the Belgard district from 1932 to 1945 . In 1838 Leutnant von Hagen, owner of the estate in Langen (Łęgi) since 1829 , bought Damerow and also the Röglin Vorwerk, which was run as a manor until 1929. However, the company ran into economic difficulties. Settlement areas were therefore created, which were handed over to the new owners in August 1930. In 1939 there were 34 full-time farmers.

In terms of traffic, Röglin was connected to Belgard (Białogard) and Schivelbein (Świdwin) by a side road . Railway station on the Reichsbahn line Berlin - Stettin - Köslin - Danzig - Königsberg was Nelep (Nielep) . The last German mayor of Damerow with Röglin was Gerhard Kneppenberg, the superior district (with registry office) Alt Schlage (Sława) was headed by Paul Röpke. The district court district was Bad Polzin ( Połczyn-Zdrój ) .

As a result of the war , Röglin came to Poland . Today's Rogalino is seven kilometers northeast of Świdwin, to whose rural municipality it belongs.

church

Until 1945 Röglin belonged to the parish Alt Schlage within the parish of Ziezeneff (Cieszeniewo) . The village was thus assigned to the church district Schivelbein in the church province of Pomerania of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union . In 1940 the Alt Schlage parish had 765 parishioners. The last German pastor in the parish of Ziezeneff was Paul Blank. The church registers are considered lost.

Today Rogalino is in the area of responsibility of the Parish Koszalin (Köslin) of the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland with its seat in Sopot (Sopot) - the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland . The next place of worship is the chapel in Świdwin , ul.Cmentarna 1.

school

While Röglin's children initially went to school in Alt Schlage, that changed in 1847 with the construction of a school house in Damerow. Later there was a school of its own in Röglin, the last German headmaster of which was Krüger.
