Dąbrowa Białogardzka ( German Damerow, Kr. Belgard ) is a village in Poland , nine kilometers northeast of Świdwin (Schivelbein) . It belongs to the rural community Rąbino (Groß Rambin) in the powiat Świdwiński in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship .
history
The Pomeranian village of Damerow with its Vorwerk Röglin (formerly: Klein und Groß Röglin , today in Polish: Rogalino ) belonged to the Belgard district until 1945 . Its southern municipal border is Rega , which separated the Belgard and Schivelbein districts until they were merged in 1932.
In 1322 Damerow was first mentioned in a document. In 1935, however, prehistoric graves and urns from around 1000 BC were found. For four centuries the place was under the "direction" of the Ramel family . In 1735 the Röglin hereditary fiefdom and the knight's seat in Damerow came into the possession of the von Sydow family , and then to the von Stechow and Zezenow families . In 1838 Damerow and its outbuildings were bought by Lieutenant von Hagen, who had been the owner of the estate in Langen (now Łęgi ) since 1829 .
In 1856 there were 304 people living in the community, in 1939 there were 435 (in 104 households). The train station was Nelep (Nielep) on the Reichsbahn line Berlin - Stettin - Köslin - Danzig - Königsberg , only a small side street provided the connection to Schivelbein or Groß Rambin - Belgard for Damerow.
Until 1945 Damerow belonged with Röglin to the administrative district and registry office area Alt Schlage (Sława) . The district court district was Bad Polzin (Połczyn-Zdrój) . The last mayor was Gerhard Keppenberg, the last head of the office was Paul Röpke. Damerow was occupied by the Red Army in early March 1945 without a fight . As a result of the Second World War , Damerow came to Poland with Röglin .
Today Dąbrowa Białogardzka is part of Gmina Rąbino ; Rogalino, on the other hand, belongs to the rural municipality of Świdwin .
church
Damerow with Röglin belonged to the parish Alt Schlage in the parish of Ziezeneff (Cieszeniewo) until 1945 . Thus the places were assigned to the church district Schivelbein in the church province of Pomerania of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union . The church patronage of Alt Schlage was the responsibility of the landowner from Hagen zu Neu Schlage. In 1940 765 parishioners lived in the church district Alt Schlage (2663 in the entire parish). The last German pastor in the parish of Ziezeneff was Paul Blank. The church registers have been lost since 1945.
Evangelical residents today belong to the Parafia (Parochie) Koszalin (Köslin) of Diecezja Pomorsko-Wielkopolskia ( Diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland ) - seat in Sopot (Sopot) - the Kościół Ewangelicko-Augsburski (Luterański dh ) w Polsce ( Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland ). The next place of worship is the chapel in Świdwin (Schivelbein) , ul.Cmentarna 1.
schools
The landlord von Hagen had a school house built with a teacher's apartment and at the same time made arable land available for the respective headmaster. Most recently the schools in Damerow and Röglin were run by teachers Otto Schmidt and Krüger.
Attractions
The old landscape park from the 19th century is well worth seeing.
