Dołganów (German name: Dolgenow ) is a small place in the Polish rural community Rąbino , which belongs to the powiat Świdwiński in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship . 13 km northeast of the county seat Świdwin is Dołganów at the foot of the 120 meter high Czermna ( Black Mountain ).
history
Dolgenow is an old manor village in the Schivelbein district and connected to the neighboring village of Klötzin (now in Polish: Kłodzino ), with which it formed a municipality in the Kreitzig ( Krzecko ) district.
In 1540 Dolgenow - like Klötzin - came into the possession of the Order of St. John , and in 1621 Lorenz von Wachholz was enfeoffed with Dolgenow. In 1804 it is owned by Christoph Radugt, who also owns Retzin ( Rzecino ) in the Belgard district. In 1928, Ernst Schmeling finally became the owner of the manor with a size of 744 hectares. Ernst Schmeling had six children, he committed suicide in 1940 because he saw what was happening and wanted to be buried on his own land. In March 1945 the Red Army marched into Dolgenow. The place came to Poland, and the ancestral population had to leave the place.
Today Dołganów belongs to the rural community (Gmina) Rąbino .
church
Dolgenow belonged to the parish Klötzin, the daughter parish in the parish Nelep ( Nielep ) of the church district Schivelbein ( church province Pomerania of the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union ). The church patronage of Dolgenow was last held by the manor Schmeling. The last German pastor was Georg Rößler in Nelep.
school
Dolgenow was associated with Klötzin in school.
