Jezierzyce (German Jeseritz ) is a small settlement and a former manor village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship . The place belongs to the rural community Rąbino ( Groß Rambin ) in the powiat Świdwiński ( Schivelbein ).

Geographical location

Jezierzyce is eight kilometers south of Rąbino and has always been organizationally linked to the village of Lipie ( Arnhausen ).

history

The Good Jeseritz inherited Leontine of Kleist , born of Manteuffel to her grandson Rudolf von Kleist. He managed to bring the 694 hectare estate back to economic prosperity in years of work. But only one generation was allowed to enjoy the Jeseritz property. With the invasion of the Russians in Pomerania - like all Kleist's goods - Jeseritz was lost. Rudolf von Kleist and his wife Gertrud von Usedom ( Zirmoisel ) refused to leave their homeland with the treks until the end. On March 6, 1945, Rudolf von Kleist was shot by a Russian officer in front of his wife on the doorstep of the manor house he had built in Jeseritz.

Until 1945 Jeseritz belonged to the district of Belgard (Persante) .

church

Jeseritz did not have its own church. Kirchdorf was Arnhausen , to whose parish in the parish of Belgard , ecclesiastical province of Pomerania of the Protestant Church of the Old Prussian Union it belonged until 1945. The von Kleist family of landowners held the church patronage. The last German parish priest was Egbert Zieger.

Today Jezierzyce belongs to the parish Koszalin ( Köslin ) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church .
