Osowo ( German : Wussow ) is a settlement with about 50 inhabitants in the area of the rural community Świdwin ( Schivelbein ) in the powiat Świdwiński in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship , nine kilometers west of the district town and three kilometers west of Łąkowo ( Lankow ) on the former district border to Regenwalde ( Polish: Resko ).

In the small Pomeranian town of Wussow, whose population was 141 in 1910 and 142 in 1939, there was a farm and several farms. Karl Günther was the owner of the remainder of the goods in 1928, and later chief administrator Robert Münchmeyer took over the business. As a result of the Second World War , Wussow came to Poland and is now part of the rural municipality of Świdwin.

Ecclesiastically, Wussow belonged to Wopersnow (Oparzno) in the church district Schivelbein of the church province of Pomerania in the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union until 1945 . Today Osowo is part of the Pomerania-Greater Poland diocese of the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church . The place of the church is Świdwin.
