Johann Neuner
Johann Neuner (born November 20, 1914 in Mittenwald ; † March 17, 1991 there ) was a German politician of the CSU .
Neuner attended elementary school in his home parish and then worked on his parents' farm. In 1930 he began to work as a construction worker in a construction shop with a sawmill. In 1936 he was drafted into the mountain troops of the Wehrmacht . At the end of 1942 he entered the Second World War , after participating in numerous campaigns near Tuapse in the Caucasus , he lost his right arm. He stayed in a hospital for two years, after which he attended the army technical school in Lindau . After his return, he was honorary first mayor of the Mittenwald market from 1945 to 1952, he was also a member of the market council and the district council and was the second manager of the Mittenwald mountain lift . In 1954 he was elected to the Bavarian state parliament for the first time , to which he belonged until 1966. He always won the direct mandate in the constituency of Garmisch-Partenkirchen , Bad Tölz . He was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit on May 14, 1965.
