Johann Wild (chief magistrate)

Johann Carl Wilhelm Wild (born August 27, 1858 in Oberacker ; † March 16, 1903 in Heidelberg ) was a German administrative and ministerial official.

Life

Johann Wild, son of a Protestant pastor, studied law at the universities of Freiburg , Berlin and Strasbourg from 1877 to 1882 after attending grammar school in Karlsruhe . In 1878 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Freiburg . In 1882 he passed the 1st and in 1885 the 2nd state examination in law. In August 1885 he became a trainee and assistant, in 1888 an official at the Waldshut district office . In 1889 he moved to the Mannheim district office , where he was promoted to senior magistrate in 1891 . In 1892 he was appointed head of the Buchen District Office and in 1896 of the Waldshut District Office. From 1902 until his death in 1902 he was Ministerialrat in the Baden Ministry of the Interior in Karlsruhe.

Wild was a member of the administrative board of the Badische Generalbrandkasse.
