Johanna is a seven-part television series that was produced on behalf of the DDR television in 1988 and 1989. Peter Hagen was the author and director .

The series tells the story of a Berlin tram driver, her family and the collective - the "second family". In seven parts, Johanna masters one hurdle after the other with the help of her two families and always has an open ear for the other's problems.

For the Berlin VEB Kombinat Transport Authority (BVB) in Berlin turned recordings were KT4D - railcars 219,551 and 219,552 and the Reko - sidecar used type BE64 267444. The upper part of the sidecar was cut off and the film technology installed on it. The car then ran between the two KT4Ds, the tram drivers to be filmed sat in the rear of the vehicle. The sidecar was scrapped after filming was completed.

The shooting was supported by experts. a. by Petra Kuder (driving instructor) and Peter Schulze (driving instructor).

On November 4, 2013, the series was first released on DVD.
