Peter Mohrdieck (* 1958 in Berlin ) is a German actor and painter .

Life

Peter Mohrdieck grew up in Berlin . He initially received his professional training in the areas of industrial design, graphics and design. It was only later that Mohrdieck switched to acting, trained as an actor and has since been engaged in many series and television productions.

After a break of 20 years, he is also working again as a painter. Peter Mohrdieck runs a studio and gallery in Berlin-Friedrichshain under the pseudonym Mori . In the style of American Realism, he spans an arc from naturalism of the 19th century to photorealism of the 1960s and 1970s. At first glance, the visual effect of his pictures is like a photograph, similar to Edward Hopper's painting technique . His motifs mostly represent urban life (Berlin, New York , Shanghai ). Several Mohrdieck exhibitions have taken place in Berlin and Hamburg so far .
