Johanna Elisabeth Schmid

Johanna Elisabeth Schmid (* 1967 in Augsburg ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian and university professor for church history .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1987, she studied Catholic theology, Romance studies and English studies at the National University of Ireland in Galway and at the University of Augsburg , where she received the university's science award in 2000 with her dissertation The Overlooked Faithful - Catholic and Protestant Women in Ravensbrück Concentration Camp Augsburg, received his doctorate . She teaches as senior teacher at the Peutinger grammar school in Augsburg.

After completing her habilitation in the winter semester 2009/2010 at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz , she teaches there as a private lecturer .
