Johanna von Hanau-Lichtenberg (1507–1572)
Johanna von Hanau-Lichtenberg (* 1507 ; † January 27, 1572 at Eberstein Castle near Gernsbach ) was the eldest daughter of Count Philipp III. von Hanau-Lichtenberg (October 18, 1482 - May 15, 1538) and the Margravine Sibylle von Baden (April 26, 1485 - July 10, 1518).

Johanne married Count Wilhelm IV of Eberstein on November 6, 1522 (* May 3, 1497 - July 1, 1562), 1546–1555 President of the Imperial Court of Justice . She and her husband are mentioned several times in the Zimmerische Chronik . From this marriage emerged:
- Philipp, II. Von Eberstein (* 1523 - † September 11, 1589 in Remlingen ), Imperial Councilor, Supreme Captain and Governor in Upper Alsace . In 1577 Philip was placed under guardianship because of "madness" .

Johanna was buried on January 29, 1572 in the parish church of Gernsbach . The epitaph that represents her and her husband has been preserved there.
