Johannes Groth

Johannes Groth (born April 21, 1774 in Echzell , † July 29, 1852 ibid) was a Hessian farmer and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Johannes Groth was the son of the farmer and farrier Johannes Groth and his wife Eva Gertraut, née Stoll. Groth, who was a Protestant, was a farmer in and mayor of Echzell and married Elisabeth Margarethe nee Kraft.

From 1820 to 1824 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Upper Hesse 12 / Bingenheim / Nidda .
