Wilhelm Schuchard

Karl Wilhelm Schuchard (born July 20, 1819 in Burg-Graefenrode , † September 2, 1891 in Gernsheim ) was a Hessian judge and politician ( NLP ) and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Wilhelm Schuchard was the son of pastor Friedrich Ludwig Gottlieb Schuchard and his wife Luise Philippine, née Brodreich.

Schuchard studied law at the University of Giessen from 1837 and became a court attorney after graduation. In 1856 he became a senior judge with a vote at the Nidda regional court and from 1867 at the Grünberg regional court . In 1870 he became a district judge at the Ulrichstein district court and in 1877 at the Bad Nauheim district court . In 1879 he became chief magistrate in Gernsheim .

From 1872 to 1875 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Upper Hesse 12 / Nidda .
