Friedrich Wolff (politician, 1792)

Friedrich Jakob Wolff (born April 22, 1792 in Groß-Gerau , † September 4, 1854 in Darmstadt ) was a Hessian rent official and politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Friedrich Wolff was the son of the doctor Dr. med. Johann Wilhelm Wolff (1747–1821) and his wife Marie Henriette, née Kempf, widowed Stapp (1754–1806). Wolff, who was Protestant, married Anna Margaretha, born mercenary (1793–1868), on February 3, 1820 in Friedberg.

Wolff initially served in the military and became a prime lieutenant. In 1824 he was rent agent in Gladenbach and in 1831 the same in Bingenheim. In 1834 he became a computer and hospital master in Hofheim. In 1849 he was retired.

From 1832 to 1847 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Upper Hesse 12 / Bingenheim / Nidda . In the estates he took conservative positions.
