Johannes Türschmann

Johannes Türschmann (born May 12, 1923 in Chemnitz ; † November 19, 1975 ) was a German functionary of the GDR bloc party LDPD . He was chairman of the Dresden and Suhl district boards of the LDPD.

Life

Türschmann learned the trade of textile worker. He did military service in World War II . In 1946 he joined the LDP, he was the judicial secretary at the district court of Zittau. From 1950 to 1953 he acted as mayor of Oybin and was a member of the district council and a member of the LDPD district committee in Zittau . Subsequently, he was secretary of the LDPD district board of Meissen and Riesa and instructor of the LDPD district board of Dresden. From 1957 to 1959 he headed the instructor brigade at the LDPD central board. From 1959 to 1964 he was chairman of the LDPD district committee in Dresden. From 1960 to 1975 he was a member of the LDPD central board. Between 1964 and 1970 he was an employee of the Minister for the guidance and control of the district and county councils . Türschmann qualified as a political scientist. From 1 February 1970 to 1975, he served as chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party District Board Suhl and was a member of the District Day Suhl. From 1967 to 1975 Türschmann was also a member of the Political Committee of the LDPD Central Board.
