Johannes Wilhelm Wendel Illig

Johannes Wilhelm Wendel Illig (born June 6, 1806 in Nieder-Ramstadt ; † February 7, 1870 in Ebersbach ) was a German paper manufacturer and member of the Hessian state parliament.

Johannes Wilhelm Wendel Illig was the son of the paper manufacturer Johann Christian Illig (1780–1842) and his wife Anna Christine nee Schemel (1779–1845). Johannes Wilhelm Wendel Illig of the Protestant denomination married Anna Elisabeth born Walter (1801-1851) on January 21, 1833 in Nieder-Ramstadt.

He was the owner of the Illigschen paper factory in Nieder-Ramstadt.

From 1856 to 1862 he was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse for the constituency of Starkenburg I / Bessungen-Arheilgen .
