Ludwig Kolbe
Ludwig Kolbe (born January 6, 1813 in Fauerbach ; † September 6, 1880 in Bessungen ) was a Hessian button manufacturer and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .
Ludwig Kolbe was the son of the white binder Valentin Kolbe and his wife Anna Maria, née Edelmann. Kolbe, who was Protestant, was a button manufacturer in Bessungen and married Margaretha Dorothea Elisabetha nee Boeger (1811-1883) on May 16, 1846.
From 1866 to 1872 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 1 / Bessungen . In the estates he represented liberal-conservative positions.
