Johannes Hubertus Freiherr von Reibnitz (born October 23, 1882 in Lohnau , † June 25, 1939 in Leipzig ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ) and agricultural functionary.

origin

His parents were the lord of Lohnau Arthur Marie Emil Wilhelm von Reibnitz (born March 24, 1854) and his wife Maria Schrameck (born August 28, 1855).

He came from the old Silesian noble family von Reibnitz . After visiting the educational institution in Schnepfenthal and the cadet corps in Dresden , Reibnitz was an active officer in the Hussar Regiment "Graf Goetzen" (2nd Silesian) No. 6 in Leobschütz from 1901 to 1910 . Then he retired from the army to settle down as a farmer in Maltschawe. During the First World War he took part as first lieutenant, cavalry master and squadron chief in the replacement cavalry regiment in the Woyrsch army department.

From December 1918 made his apartment in Berlin available to Karl Radek , who had been released from prison in Berlin Moabit prison with the approval of German authorities. In this apartment Radek - as a representative of the Russian Soviet Republic "- was able to receive guests and his interlocutors undisturbed. These included leading personalities of the Weimar Republic, intellectuals, functionaries of the KPD and others. In 1929, Reibnitz joined the NSDAP ( membership number 147.073), where he became an advisor for the Gau Silesia and regional farmers' leader in Silesia. He was also the keeper of the seal of the German Reich Farmers Council .

From 1932 until its dissolution in autumn 1933, Reibnitz was a member of the Prussian Landtag . He then sat from November 1933 until his death in 1939 as a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for the constituency in constituency 7 ( Breslau ) . His mandate was then continued by Otto Jaeschke .

He married Beate von Pritzelwitz (born December 22, 1887) in 1910, from whom he divorced in 1920, then he married Anne Marie Poncet in 1920.
