John Ebebe Ayah

John Ebebe Ayah (born December 10, 1959 in Buja-Obanliku , Cross River State , Nigeria ) is a Nigerian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Uyo .

Life

John Ebebe Ayah was ordained a priest on July 24, 1993 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of Ogoja on October 14, 2006 . The Archbishop of Calabar , Joseph Edra Ukpo , donated him episcopal consecration on January 6 of the next year; Co -consecrators were Archbishop Renzo Fratini , Apostolic Nuncio in Nigeria, and Felix Alaba Adeosin Job , Archbishop of Ibadan .

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Uyo on July 5, 2014 . Until the appointment of his successor on April 9, 2017, he was Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Ogoja.
