John Francis O'Hern

John Francis O'Hern (born June 8, 1874 in Olean , New York , USA , † May 22, 1933 ) was Bishop of Rochester .

Life

John Francis O'Hern received on 17 February 1901, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On January 4, 1929, Pope Pius XI appointed him . to the Bishop of Rochester. The Archbishop of New York , Patrick Joseph Cardinal Hayes , donated him episcopal ordination on March 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of San Francisco , Edward Joseph Hanna , and the Bishop of Scranton , Thomas Charles O'Reilly .
