This discography is an overview of the recordings of saxophonist John Lurie . It comprises a large number of albums in which he was involved as a solo musician, leader, guest or accompanist. Lurie's main instrument is the saxophone , but he also plays numerous other instruments and occasionally sings.
The discography presented here includes all albums on which Lurie was involved as a musician. Compilation albums by other artists are excluded. The first section lists albums that were published under Lurie's name or under his pseudonym Marvin Pontiac . The second section contains all the Lounge Lizards albums . In the third section, Lurie's guest appearances were mentioned.
