John M. Jackson

John Murice Jackson (born June 1, 1950 in Baton Rouge , Louisiana ) is an American actor who became famous for his role in the television series JAG - On behalf of the honor .

Career

Jackson was born in Louisiana but grew up in Austin , Texas . He played American football : first in high school, then for the Longhorns at the University of Texas , before an injury forced him to give up the hobby. After college, he returned to Austin to teach social studies at Lyndon B. Johnson High School.
