Johnstone Kipkorir Chepkwony
Johnstone Kipkorir Chepkwony (born May 5, 1984 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in road running.
In 2005 he won the Zurich New Year's Eve Run and in 2006 the Würzburg Residence Run . In 2006 and 2007 he won the half marathon competition of the Hanover Marathon and the Grand Prix of Bern , and in 2007 he was third in the Paderborn Easter run over 10 km and won the Kempten half marathon.
In his debut over the 42.195 km distance, he finished second behind world champion Luke Kibet in the 2008 Singapore Marathon . A year later he only had to admit defeat to Kibet in the same place.
