Jonas Erwig-Drüppel (born July 20, 1991 in Dorsten ) is a German football player . He is under contract with the fourth division club Wuppertaler SV . His preferred position is on the right flank.
Career
Erwig-Drüppel played in youth for SV Schermbeck , BVH Dorsten , VfL Bochum and SpVgg Erkenschwick . For the 2010/11 season he moved to FC Schalke 04 , with whose second team he played in the Regionalliga West . After two seasons he moved to Eintracht Braunschweig , for whom he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga on September 15, 2012 in the game against SSV Jahn Regensburg . At the end of the 2012/13 season , he rose to the Bundesliga with Eintracht. In the second half of the 2013/14 season he tore a meniscus in his right knee and fell out. After relegation Erwig-Drüppel received no new contract in Braunschweig.
He moved to the 3rd division for SSV Jahn Regensburg, with whom he signed a contract that ran until 2015. At the beginning of February 2015 he terminated his contract in Regensburg and joined VfB Oldenburg until the end of the season . During the 2015 summer break, he moved to SC Verl , where his contract expired on June 30, 2016. For the Regionalliga West season 2016/17 he moved to SG Wattenscheid 09 .
After two years at SG Wattenscheid 09, Erwig-Drüppel moved to league competitor Wuppertaler SV on July 1, 2018 . However, after the latter got into financial difficulties and enabled his players to change immediately, Erwig-Drüppel joined Rot-Weiss Essen in January 2019 .
