Jonny Weston
Jonny Weston (born June 16, 1988 in Charleston , South Carolina ) is an American actor . He is known for the role of Jay Moriarity in Mavericks - Live Your Dream (2012) and that of Edgar in The Determination - Insurgent (2015).
life and career
Weston was born and raised in Charleston , South Carolina in 1988 . After high school, he attended the University of South Carolina at Columbia at the age of 18 . There he attended a theater class and recognized his passion for acting.
He was able to secure his first small role in the television series Pocket Dial and Supah Ninjas , which made his acting debut in 2011. He then starred in a number of feature films in 2012, including Cherry and Under the Bed . Weston became famous in 2012 for the role of Jay Moriarity in the biographical feature film Mavericks - Live Your Dream . At the end of 2014 he played the role of Jimmy , Maggie Grace's movie friend , in the action film 96 Hours - Taken 3 .
At the beginning of 2015, he starred as David Raskin in the found footage film Project Almanac . In the science fiction film The Determination - Insurgent , a film adaptation of the novel The Determination - Deadly Truth by Veronica Roth , Weston plays the role of Edgar .
