Joost van den Vondel Prize

The Joost van den Vondel Prize was a prize for the humanities and culture for the Flemish-Dutch-Low German language area, which was awarded from 1960 by the Alfred Toepfer Foundation FVS . It was last endowed with 20,000 euros and was last awarded in 2000.

It is named after the Dutch playwright Joost van den Vondel .

The committees were chaired by Richard Declerck , Henri Draye (from 1969), Georg Kauffmann (from 1984) and Ludo Simons (from 1998).
