Jordan Kyros (born February 24, 1992 in Perth ) is an Australian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Perth Thunder in the Australian Ice Hockey League since 2012 .

Career

Jordan Kyros began his career as a hockey player with the West Coast Flyers in the WASL, an Australian junior league. From 2009 to 2013 he played in the southern hemisphere summer, i.e. around the turn of the year, for various Finnish clubs in local youth classes. In 2012 he was drawn by Toronto Canada Moose in the draft of the Greater Metropolitan Hockey League in the 6th round as a total of 81 players, but did not move to Canada. In the 2012 season he made his debut in the Australian Ice Hockey League for Perth Thunder , where he has played since then.

International

In the junior division Kyros took part for Australia in the U18 World Championships in Division III 2009 and Division II 2010 and the U20 World Championships in 2011 and 2012 in Division II.

For the men's national team he was on the ice for the first time at the 2011 World Cup in Division I, but had to accept relegation. He then played at the World Championships in Division II in 2013 , 2015 and 2016 .
