Jorge Llopart ( Jorge Llopart Ribas, Catalan Jordi Llopart Ribas ; born May 5, 1952 in El Prat de Llobregat , Catalonia ) is a former Spanish walker who specialized in the 50 km distance .

Llopart became European champion over 50 km at his first major international championships in Prague in 1978 . The following year he set his personal best on August 26th in Reus with 3:44:33 h. In 1980 he finished second behind Hartwig Gauder from the GDR at the Olympic Games in Moscow .

At the European Championships in Athens in 1982 he was sixth, two years later he was seventh at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles . This was followed by 9th place at the 1986 European Championships in Stuttgart and 13th place at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul .

Jorge Llopart is 1.67 m tall and weighed 64 kg at competition times, comes from the same city as the walker José Marín .
