Valery Anatolyevich Spitsyn

Valery Anatoljewitsch Spizyn ( Russian Валерий Анатольевич Спицын , English spelling Valeriy Spitsyn ; born December 5, 1965 in Magnitogorsk ) is a former Russian walker who became European champion in his sport in 1994.

In 1992 Spizyn became the Champion of the Commonwealth of Independent States . At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona , his teammate Andrei Perlow won . Behind the Mexican Carlos Mercenario and the German Ronald Weigel , Spizyn took fourth place after 3:54:39 ​​h.
