Yohann Diniz (also written Yohan Diniz ; born January 1, 1978 in Épernay ) is a French athlete .

Life

In 2005, Yohann Diniz set personal bests in 20 km walking with 1:20:20 h and in 50 km walking with 3:45:17 h. At the European Championships in Gothenburg in 2006 , with a new personal best of 3:41:39 h, he surprisingly managed to win over 50 km in pouring rain. This made him the first French walker to win gold at a major international championship.
