Yūsuke Suzuki

Yūsuke Suzuki ( Japanese 鈴木 雄 介 , Suzuki Yūsuke; born January 2, 1988 in Tatsunokuchi (today: Nomi )) is a Japanese walker .

At the Junior World Championships in 2006 , he won bronze in the 10 km walk. In the 20 km walk he finished 42nd at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin and eighth place in Daegu in 2011 . At the 2012 Olympic Games in London , he came in 36th place. In 2013 he was twelfth at the World Championships in Moscow , and in 2014 he won silver at the Asian Games in Gwangju .

On March 15, 2015, he set a world record at the Asian Walking Championships in Nomi with 1:16:36 h. At the World Championships in Beijing , he did not reach the goal.

Suzuki studied at Juntendō University .
