Jorge Martín Torres Carbonell (born April 22, 1954 in Buenos Aires , Argentina ) is an Argentine clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Gregorio de Laferrère .

Life

Jorge Martín Torres Carbonell received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires on November 18, 1983 .

On 21 November 2014 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Aquae in Byzacena and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Lomas de Zamora . He was ordained episcopate on February 27 of the following year by the Bishop of Lomas de Zamora, Jorge Rubén Lugones SJ . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Mario Aurelio Cardinal Poli , the Bishop of San Justo , Eduardo Horacio García , as well as the auxiliary bishops Joaquín Mariano Sucunza from Buenos Aires and Jorge Vázquez from Lomas de Zamora.

On June 30, 2020, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Gregorio de Laferrère. The inauguration took place on August 15 of the same year.
