Joris Gratwohl
Joris Gratwohl (born June 27, 1973 in Olten , Switzerland ) is a Swiss actor and former soccer player .
Life
The former football professional of FC Aarau trained as an actor in Zurich from 1995 to 1999 . At the theater he played Jason in Christa Wolf's Medea and Moritz Stiefel in Frank Wedekind's Spring Awakening . After several short films, in the Swiss series Lüthi and Blanc as well as in the German series SOKO 5113 , SOKO Cologne , Die Rettungsflieger and Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei , he had cinema roles in The Miracle of Bern and Grounding - The Last Days of Swissair . He played the leading role in the Swiss production Flanke ins All (Cobra Film). In 2009 he was seen in the ndF production Baby frei Haus im Erste . His best-known role is that of Alexander "Alex" Behrend , which he played from 2001 to 2020 in the ARD series Lindenstrasse . In 2014 he played the main role Adrian von Bubenberg in the world premiere of the large open-air production 1476 - The Story of the Battle of Murten . Joris Gratwohl wrote and plays together with colleague Ingo Heise the play The Glorious Two , which premiered in Cologne in 2010. In 2016 he co-wrote the documentary Die Villa Massimo by Iain Dilthey. In 2016 he played in the fourth season of The Undertaker . In 2018 Gratwohl can be seen in the movie Mario by Marcel Gisler. In 2018/2019 he wrote his second play "IN DER MITTE". The premiere was in December 2019 in Cologne under the direction of Stefan Rogge.
