José Antonio Gentico
José Antonio Gentico (born November 28, 1931 in Arnedo in the La Rioja region , Spain ; † April 5, 2007 ) was auxiliary bishop in Buenos Aires .
Life
José Antonio Gentico was ordained a priest for the diocese of Morón on November 30, 1968 .
On March 21, 2001 he was appointed auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires and titular bishop of Mizigi by Pope John Paul II . The Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Jorge Mario Cardinal Bergoglio , ordained him episcopal on April 28 of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Morón, Justo Oscar Laguna , the Bishop of San Martín , Raúl Omar Rossi , and the auxiliary bishops Joaquín Mariano Sucunza and Guillermo Rodríguez-Melgarejo from Buenos Aires.
