José Arturo Cepeda Escobedo (born May 15, 1969 in San Luis Potosí ) is a Mexican clergyman and auxiliary bishop in Detroit .

Life

The Archbishop of San Antonio , Patrick Fernández Flores , ordained him a priest on June 1, 1996 . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on April 18, 2011 auxiliary bishop in Detroit and titular bishop of Tagase .

The Archbishop of Detroit and Apostolic Superior of the Cayman Islands , Allen Henry Vigneron , consecrated him and the auxiliary bishops Michael Jude Byrnes and Donald Francis Hanchon appointed with him on May 5 of the same year as bishop ; Co- consecrators were John Clayton Nienstedt , Archbishop of Saint Paul and Minneapolis , and John Michael Quinn , Bishop of Winona .
