José Txetxu Gavilánes (born February 27, 1987 in Vitoria-Gasteiz ) is a Spanish ice hockey player who has been under contract with CH Txuri Urdin in the Spanish Super League since 2014 .

Career

José Gavilánes began his career as a hockey player in the youth of CH Gasteiz , for whose first team he played in the Spanish Super League until 2005 . He then played at CH Txuri Urdin until 2011 before returning to his home club, with which he won the Spanish national championship in 2013 and 2014 . In 2014 he moved to Txuri Urdin for the second time, where he has been under contract ever since.

International

For Spain , Gavilánes took part in the junior division at the U18 World Championships in 2003 and 2005 in Division II and the U20 World Championships in 2006 and 2007, also in Division II.

In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in Division II in 2006 , 2012 and 2013 and in the World Championships in Division I in 2011 .
